Alpharetta, a city situated in northern Fulton County, Georgia is a small suburb south of Atlanta and is an integral part of the Atlanta metro area. It is within the Atlanta urban area. As of the 2021 Census, Alpharetta’s population had 57,511. The official estimate for the next five to ten years is likely to be much lower as growth continues at about two percent a year.

The renovated Buckhead Plaza is the crowning achievement of this project. At the corner of Peachtree Street and Monroe Street is the historic Buckhead welcome center. Built in the late nineteen seventies it offers many unique shops and restaurants. Also on this same block is the Atlanta University Center, which serves as the central point of city life for students. A short walking distance from the welcome center is the historic Atlanta Grand Opening celebration place for children and families.

If you are looking for some entertainment during your stay in Atlanta, look no further than the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This venue hosts some of the highest ranked high school football programs in the country. It is also home to the Atlanta Falcons football team. The Mercedes-Benz Stadium has been a mainstay in the greater Atlanta area as well as the state of Georgia since it was built. There are also a multitude of Atlanta music festivals such as the Glass House Arts Festival, celebrating Atlanta music.

The top malls include Buckhead at Stonebridge Place, Krogs downtown, Hartsfield Jackson Downtown, and Moreland at Almeda Inn.
